AUDIOCLIP: VATICAN RADIO, BLESSING "URBI ET ORBI" ON SHORT WAVES 15595 KHz


Come di consueto nel periodo natalizio la Radio Vaticana ha inserito nella sua programmazione in onde corte una serie di trasmissioni straordinarie con le dirette delle celebrazioni dalla Basilica di San Pietro in Roma.  Queste trasmissioni speciali, commentate in diverse lingue sulle varie frequenze, sono destinate soprattutto alle popolazioni di religione cattolica residenti in aree dove avrebbero grandi difficoltà di accedere alla diffusione di queste celebrazioni. Tra le trasmissioni effettuate il 25 dicembre, in occasione della benedizione "Urbi et Orbi" abbiamo registrato quella commentata in lingua araba trasmessa sulla frequenza di 15595 KHz attraverso il sito di Santa Maria di Galeria. Si tratta di una registrazione integrale comprendente l'omelia del Papa e la benedizione.

 
As usual during the Christmas period, the Vatican Radio has included in its short wave programming a series of extraordinary broadcasts with live coverage of the St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. These special programs, commented in different languages on the various frequencies, are mainly intended for Catholic populations living in areas where they would have great difficulty in accessing the spread of these celebrations. Among the programs broadcast on December 25th, on the occasion of the blessing "Urbi et Orbi" we recorded the commentary in Arabic transmitted on the frequency of 15595 KHz through the site of Santa Maria di Galeria. It is a complete recording including the homily of the Pope and the blessing.
