LISTENING TO RADIO BRASIL CENTRAL, 11815 KHz, NEW JINGLE AND OLD QSL LETTER

 

Radio Brasil Central da Goiania, Brasile, è una delle poche emittenti che resistono sulle onde corte da questo grande Paese un tempo ricchissimo di emittenti sia in banda tropicale che sulle frequenze da 6 MHz in su. Le frequenze utilizzate sono due: i 4985 e gli 11815 KHz. La ricezione europea sui 60 metri risulta episodica mentre sui 25 metri la ricezione risulta molto più agevole e continua, a volte con segnali davvero buoni. Questa mattina, alle 5.00  UTC il segnale risultava decisamente buono ed è stato possibile registrare questo segmento di trasmissione contenente oltre che la presentazione di un programma dedicato al samba anche di un lungo jingle musicale con l'identificazione dell'emittente. Nell'archivio abbiamo invece ritrovato una vecchia lettera QSL dell'emittente che abbiamo il piacere di condividere con i lettori.

Radio Brasil Central from Goiania, Brazil, is one of the few broadcasters that survive on short waves in this large country, once very rich in broadcasters both in the tropical band and on frequencies from 6 MHz and above. There are two frequencies used: 4985 and 11815 KHz. European reception on 60 meters is episodic while on 25 meters reception is much easier and more continuous, sometimes with really good signals. This morning, at 5.00 UTC the signal was decidedly good and it was possible to record this broadcast segment containing not only the presentation of a program dedicated to samba but also a long musical jingle with the identification of the broadcaster. In the archive we instead found an old QSL letter from the issuer which we are pleased to share with readers.
