AUDIOCLIP, GALEI ZAHAL BACK ON MEDIUM WAVES ON 1287 KHz

 

Gli scenari di guerra riaprono la strada ai vecchi sistemi di comunicazione analogici. Era accaduto lo scorso anno quando la guerra in Ucraina aveva spinto le parti belligeranti a riattivare i trasmettitori in onde medie spenti da almeno un decennio e sta accadendo ora con il riaccendersi della crisi medio orientale che aveva già spinto la BBC a riattivare il servizio in arabo diffuso dal relay di Cipro sui 639 KHz e che proprio in questi giorni ha convinto le autorità israeliane a riportare sulle onde medie la storica emittente dell'esercito Galei Zahal presente per decenni su questa banda e anche sulle onde corte. Le frequenze finora monitorate sono quella dei 1287 KHz attiva con 50 KW di potenza da She'ar Yashuv che si riceve con ottimo segnale, nelle ore serali, in gran parte d'Italia  e sui 945 KHz con 100 KW di potenza da Tel Aviv che però risulta fortemente interferita da Radio Romania Actualitati. Nel video la ricezione casalinga, senza particolari accorgimenti o strumentazioni, poco prima della mezzanotte.

 

 

War scenarios reopen the way to old analogue communication systems. It happened last year when the war in Ukraine had pushed the warring parties to reactivate medium wave transmitters that had been off for at least a decade and it is happening now with the rekindling of the Middle Eastern crisis which had already pushed the BBC to reactivate the service in Arabic broadcast by the Cyprus relay on 639 KHz and which in recent days has convinced the Israeli authorities to bring the historic army broadcaster Galei Zahal, present for decades on this band and also on short waves, back to medium waves. The frequencies monitored so far are that of 1287 KHz active with 50 KW of power from She'ar Yashuv which is received with an excellent signal, in the evening hours, in a large part of Italy and on 945 KHz with 100 KW of power from Tel Aviv which however, it appears to be heavily interfered with by Radio Romania Actualitati.
