AUDIOCLIP, URBI ET ORBI CHRISTMAS BLESSING 2020 VIA VATICAN RADIO 17805 KHz

 

Come da tradizione anche quest'anno, in occasione del Natale, il Papa ha impartito la solenne benedizione "Urbi et orbi" . Piazza San Pietro, tradizionale ritrovo della mattina di Natale dei fedeli dell'urbe, dei pellegrini e dei visitatori della città, era malinconicamente vuota a causa delle misure anti covid adottate dalle autorità e la cerimonia si è svolta all'interno dell'aula delle benedizioni, ubicata sopra il portico di San Pietro. La cerimonia, attraverso il circuito Vatican News è stata diffusa in tutto il mondo attraverso le TV e le radio collegate all'evento. La radio Vaticana ha diffuso la cerimonia anche attraverso le onde corte del sito trasmittente di Santa Maria Galeria con commenti in varie lingue come da schedule diffuso nei giorni scorsi. Abbiamo registrato l'intera cerimonia, durata meno di mezz'ora, sulla frequenza dei 17805 KHz, frequenza destinata all'ascolto in Africa,  con traduzione simultanea e commento in portoghese.

St. Peter's Square, the traditional Christmas morning meeting place for the faithful of the city, pilgrims and visitors to the city, was sadly empty due to the anti-covid measures adopted by the authorities and the ceremony took place inside the blessing room , located above the portico of San Pietro. The ceremony, through the Vatican News circuit, was broadcast all over the world on TV and radio connected to the event. Vatican radio also broadcast the ceremony through the short waves of the Santa Maria Galeria broadcasting site with comments in various languages as per the schedule released in recent days. We recorded the entire ceremony, which lasted less than half an hour, on the frequency of 17805 KHz, a frequency intended for listening in Africa, with simultaneous translation and commentary in Portuguese.
