La Repubblica del Congo (quella con capitale Brazzaville) è una delle poche nazioni africane che è ancora possibile ascoltare sulle onde corte. Il segnale sulla frequenza di 6115 KHz viene diffuso da un trasmettitore della potenza di 50 KW ubicato nei pressi della capitale. La "finestra" buona per ascoltare questa stazione in Europa si apre verso le 18-18.30 UTC fino alle 18.55 circa quando arrivano i soliti cinesi ad occupare il canale adiacente adiacente dei 6110 KHz con i loro 500 KW per la trasmissione in russo. La stazione africana, almeno stando agli schedule del WRTH dovrebbe comunque terminare la trasmissioni alle 19.00 UTC. Nel marasma dei 49 metri la stazione si ascolta generalmente con un segnale generalmente abbastanza basso e spesso si deve ricorrere all'espediente di passare in ascolto in modalità USB per riuscire ad ascoltarla. Nella prima serata del 29 giugno 2023 si è verificata invece una insolita, almeno per me, apertura con un segnale che oscillava nell'ultima mezz'ora tra il buono e l'ottino. Programma di musica afro pop con due presentatori, un commento di alcuni minuti e termine della trasmissione con "Africa Unite" di Bob Marley coperto verso la fine da Radio Cina Internazionale. Diverse volte nel corso della trasmissione è stato citato il nome della stazione e la clip audio che vi proponiamo è relativa a questi annunci.
RADIO CONGO 6115 KHz ANNUNCI DI IDENTIFICAZIONE
The Republic of Congo (the one with Brazzaville as its capital) is one of the few African nations that can still be heard on shortwave. The signal on the 6115 KHz frequency is broadcast by a 50 KW power transmitter located near the capital. The good "window" to listen to this station in Europe opens around 18-18.30 UTC until around 18.55 when the usual Chinese arrive to occupy the adjacent adjacent channel of 6110 KHz with their 500 KW for the transmission in Russian.
