THE WAR ON THE RADIO, AUDIO TESTIMONIALS FROM THE UKRAINE RADIO ON MEDIUM WAVES


L'Europa sta vivendo uno dei momenti più bui dalla fine della seconda guerra mondiale. Il pericolo che un conflitto per il momento regionale possa trasformarsi in una guerra globale è concreto. Le prossime ore saranno decisive per il destino dell'Ucraina e l'assetto geopolitico dell'Europa orientale. L'informazione ricopre un ruolo importante in tutta questa vicenda ed è per questo che fin dal primo giorno di guerra abbiamo registrato diversi segmenti di trasmissioni radio dell'emittente di Stato UR! che ha ripreso a trasmettere anche sulle onde medie sulla frequenza dei 549  KHz. Li proponiamo con la consapevolezza che in futuro anche questi saranno documenti importanti dei drammatici avvenimenti di cui siamo testimoni.

Europe is experiencing one of the darkest moments since the end of the Second World War. The danger that a regional conflict for the moment could turn into a global war is real. The next few hours will be decisive for the fate of Ukraine and the geopolitical order of Eastern Europe. Information plays an important role in this whole affair and that is why since the first day of the war we have recorded several segments of radio transmissions of the state broadcaster UR! which has started to transmit also on medium waves on the frequency of 549 KHz. We propose them with the awareness that in the future these too will be important documents of the dramatic events we are witnessing.
