Come tutti gli anni la Radio Vaticana ha trasmesso in diretta, sulla banda delle onde corte, la Messa papale di Pasqua seguita dalla benedizione "Urbi et orbi". La celebrazione è stata trasmessa in su varie frequenze e in vari idiomi secondo il seguente schema:
17710 KHz per l’Africa in portoghese
15575 per l’Africa in francese
13830 per l’Africa in inglese
15605 in arabo per il Medio Oriente
Non avendo ancora la disponibilità del mio shack anche questa volta mi sono dovuto arrangiare con la XHDATA e il mio smarphone trasmettendo in diretta facebook la celebrazione per poi avere a disposizione l'audio della stessa. Ne consegue che la qualità dell'audio non è eccelsa ma certamente ha un valore documentale per l'importante evento radiofonico. Le celebrazioni pasquali di quest'anno resteranno impresse a tutti per il surreale scenario della Basilica di San Pietro e della piazza completamente vuote a causa dell'epidemia in corso. In una situazione del genere la diffusione delle celebrazioni attraverso i mass media ha avuto una rilevanza ancora maggiore. Non ci resta quindi che riproporvi i video della trasmissione in onde corte sulle varie ferquenze e nelle lingue già elencate.

In such a situation, the spread of celebrations through the mass media had even greater relevance. We just have to reproduce the videos of the short-wave broadcast on the various frequencies and in the languages already listed.
