Riccardo Moretti (1886-1961) , originario di Patrica in Provincia di Frosinone e noto ai più per essere un eminente dottore e tra i fondatori del prestigioso nosocomio romano "Regina Elena". In realtà Riccardo Moretti era anche un eminente fisico che seguendo le orme di Guglielmo Marconi brevettò nei primi anni del secolo scorso un suo originale sistema di trasmissione della voce attraverso le onde radio da lui definito "radio telefono magnetico" Moretti ebbe il suo momento di gloria quando, nel 1912, sul finire della guerra Italo turca, si riuscì a stabilire un collegamento in voce tra Roma e Tripoli. In precedenza il suo sistema di trasmissione era stato testato in un collegamento nazionale tra La Spezia e Messina. Testimonianze sulla vita e sulle attività di Riccardo Moretti sono conservate presso il palazzo di famiglia trasformato in museo civico dove si ricorda anche l'altro illustre concittadino Licinio Refice, uno dei più importanti autori di música sacra del 900.
