Sempre alla vigilia di Natale, NDR Info, la radio informativo del NDR, invierà saluti ai marinai di tutto il mondo nella trasmissione "Saluti a bordo". Famiglie e amici hanno l'opportunità di augurare ai propri cari una felice festa in mare.
Adrian Feuerbacher, responsabile della programmazione di NDR Info e caporedattore di NDR Radio:"Nella sua lunga storia, lo show radiofonico Greeting a bordo forse non è mai stato così importante di quest'anno. Centinaia di migliaia di marinai non possono lasciare le navi a causa della pandemia di Corona o non possono tornare sulle loro navi. Il saluto a bordo è anche un segnale di quante persone sono con i marinai con i loro pensieri e auguri.
Il programma sarà trasmesso giovedì 24 dicembre dalle ore 20:05.m. alle ore 22:00.m e dalle ore 23:05.m. alle ore 10:00.m. su NDR Info e NDR Info Spezial. Al fine di consentire agli equipaggi e ai passeggeri delle navi da carico e da crociera di ricevere la tradizionale trasmissione su tutti gli oceani del mondo e nei porti lontani, l'NDR ha assunto la radio appositamente per la distribuzione delle frequenze broadcast a onde corte.
"Greetings on Board" fu trasmesso per la prima volta la vigilia di Natale del 1953. La serie è un ponte tra i marinai e i loro parenti in Germania. I marinai mandano a casa i saluti, le famiglie e gli amici augurano loro una felice festa in mare o in porti lontani.

The program will be broadcast on Thursday 24 December from 20: 05.m. at 22: 00.m and from 23: 05.m. at 10: 00.m. on NDR Info and NDR Info Spezial. In order to allow crews and passengers of cargo and cruise ships to receive traditional broadcast over all oceans of the world and in distant ports, the NDR has hired the radio specifically for the distribution of shortwave broadcast frequencies.
"Greetings on Board" was first broadcast on Christmas Eve 1953. The series is a bridge between sailors and their relatives in Germany. Sailors send greetings home, families and friends wish them a happy party at sea or in distant ports.
