Nota soprattutto per l'attività in Radiofax e RTTY l'agenzia tedesca redige e trasmette bollettini meteo in fonia attraverso i trasmettitori di Pinnenberg con una potenza di 10 KW, sufficiente a coprire con ottimo segnale una vasta area che va dai mari europei settentrionali al Mediterraneo.
I bollettini della durata di 30 minuti vengono diffusi alle 6.00, 12.00, 16.00 e 20.00 UTC sulle frequenze di 5905 e 6180 KHz. Generalmente le condizioni di ascolto sono ottime in tutte le fasce orarie.
