Nelle tarde mattinate invernali è sempre un piacere ascoltare il suono analogico di Radio New Zealand che, attraverso le onde corte,  trasmette i suoi programmi verso i suoi "vicini" dell'Oceano Pacifico. Il segnale, magia della propagazione, arriva anche in Europa, quindi decisamente fuori target e a volte, come è capitato domenica mattina 5 dicembre 2021, con segnali davvero strepitosi. A dire il vero ho monitorato la frequenza di 11925 KHz fin da metà mattina, ma è stato dal nostro mezzogiorno in poi, fino alla chiusura delle trasmissioni alle 13.58 ora italiana, che il segnale è arrivato in maniera assai robusta consentendo un ascolto "casalingo", fatto di ottima musica, commenti e notizie in tutto relax. Il format delle trasmissioni di questa fascia oraria è decisamente "serale" con buona musica che varia dal pop al jazz. Un annuncio classico con l'appuntamento alle trasmissioni del giorno dopo sui 7390 KHz conclude i programmi. 


In late winter mornings it is always a pleasure to listen to the analogue sound of Radio New Zealand which, via shortwave, broadcasts its programs to its "neighbors" in the Pacific Ocean. The signal, the magic of propagation, also arrives in Europe, therefore definitely off target and at times, as happened on Sunday morning 5 December 2021, with truly sensational signals. To tell the truth I monitored the frequency of 11925 KHz since mid-morning, but it was from our midday onwards, until the closing of the broadcasts at 13.58 Italian time, that the signal arrived in a very robust way allowing a "home" listening. , made of great music, commentary and news in complete relaxation. The format of the broadcasts of this time slot is decidedly "evening" with good music ranging from pop to jazz. A classic announcement with the appointment for the next day's broadcasts on 7390 KHz concludes the programs.
