TRANSMISSION ON 15050 KHz. MESSAGE FROM ZENITH CLASSIC ROCK

Nella giornata del 16 febbraio 2022 sulla frequenza in onda corta di 15050 KHz è stata ritrasmessa per diverse ore Zenith Classic Rock, emittente irlandese di Waterford che trasmette regolarmente in DAB per le Contee di Dublino e Cork. La radio, che ha un format ispirato ai grandi gruppi musicali degli anni 60 e 70, nel passato ha operato anche in onde medie sui 1584 KHz e in FM sui 103.8 MHz per il sud est dell'isola verde. L'obbiettivo attuale dell'emittente è ottenere una nuova e definitiva licenza per la banda FM che le consenta di coprire nuovamente la regione del sud est. La ritrasmissione, segnalata in tarda mattinata come UNID, da Roberto Pavanello è stata ascoltata in vari punti della penisola con buon segnale. Nel pomeriggio si è arrivati anche all'identificazione della stazione. Nel mio QTH il segnale era variabile tra il 5 e il 7 con la consueta evanescenza pomeridiana, mentre confrontando il segnale con i vari kiwi sdr italiani ho notato un segnale molto buono, oltre il 9+10, attraverso un ricevitore ubicato tra Firenze e Arezzo. Ho segnalato l'ascolto all'emittente irlandese utilizzando la messaggistica di Facebook, ricevendo, qualche ora dopo, un paio di laconiche risposte. Nulla di particolare, non si tratta di una vera e propria conferma, ma a quanto mi è stato riferito da fonte autorevole (Roberto Pavanello, ovviamente), questa emittente raramente risponde ai messaggi, quindi ci troveremmo di fronte a un evento a dir poco inconsueto. Questa la messaggistica intercorsa tra il sottoscritto e l'emittente.

Nothing in particular, it is not a real confirmation, but to what I have been told by an authoritative source (Roberto Pavanello, of course), this broadcaster rarely responds to messages, so we would be faced with an unusual event to say the least. .
