Radio New Zealand conferma in 10 giorni un rapporto di ricezione relativo alla trasmissione di fine anno del 31 dicembre 2023 andata in onda anche sui 13755 KHz. L'orario riportato sulla conferma è, in tutta evidenza, riferito alla mezzanotte locale, corrispondente al nostro mezzogiorno, ovvero le 11 UTC, Il rapporto è stato inoltrato attraverso i web form dell'emittente. Radio New Zealand confirms in 10 days a reception report relating to the year-end broadcast of 31 December 2023 which also aired on 13755 KHz. The time reported on the confirmation clearly refers to local midnight, corresponding to our midday, i.e. 11 UTC. The report was forwarded through the RNZI's web forms. V/S Adrian Sainsbury.

Lo speciale segnale distintivo L36Z è un altro risultato storico che si verifica nel processo di rinnovamento e miglioramenti sviluppati nel corso del 2023 nella LRA 36.

The special distinctive signal L36Z is another historic achievement that occurs in the process of renovation and improvements developed during 2023 in LRA 36.

AUDIOCLIP, GALEI ZAHAL BACK ON MEDIUM WAVES ON 1287 KHz

 

Gli scenari di guerra riaprono la strada ai vecchi sistemi di comunicazione analogici. Era accaduto lo scorso anno quando la guerra in Ucraina aveva spinto le parti belligeranti a riattivare i trasmettitori in onde medie spenti da almeno un decennio e sta accadendo ora con il riaccendersi della crisi medio orientale che aveva già spinto la BBC a riattivare il servizio in arabo diffuso dal relay di Cipro sui 639 KHz e che proprio in questi giorni ha convinto le autorità israeliane a riportare sulle onde medie la storica emittente dell'esercito Galei Zahal presente per decenni su questa banda e anche sulle onde corte. Le frequenze finora monitorate sono quella dei 1287 KHz attiva con 50 KW di potenza da She'ar Yashuv che si riceve con ottimo segnale, nelle ore serali, in gran parte d'Italia  e sui 945 KHz con 100 KW di potenza da Tel Aviv che però risulta fortemente interferita da Radio Romania Actualitati. Nel video la ricezione casalinga, senza particolari accorgimenti o strumentazioni, poco prima della mezzanotte.

 

 

War scenarios reopen the way to old analogue communication systems. It happened last year when the war in Ukraine had pushed the warring parties to reactivate medium wave transmitters that had been off for at least a decade and it is happening now with the rekindling of the Middle Eastern crisis which had already pushed the BBC to reactivate the service in Arabic broadcast by the Cyprus relay on 639 KHz and which in recent days has convinced the Israeli authorities to bring the historic army broadcaster Galei Zahal, present for decades on this band and also on short waves, back to medium waves. The frequencies monitored so far are that of 1287 KHz active with 50 KW of power from She'ar Yashuv which is received with an excellent signal, in the evening hours, in a large part of Italy and on 945 KHz with 100 KW of power from Tel Aviv which however, it appears to be heavily interfered with by Radio Romania Actualitati. Come tutti gli anni anche a chiusura del 2023 la Radio Vaticana ha aggiunto alla propria programmazione la trasmissione in diretta, con commenti in varie lingue, della celebrazione dei Vespri e del Te Deum di ringraziamento dalla basilica di San Pietro. Il segmento di trasmissione che vi proponiamo è l'omelia di Papa Francesco andata in onda in lingua francese sulla frequenza di 15565 KHz con destinazione Africa. La celebrazione è stata trasmessa anche con commento in arabo su 11925 KHz e in inglese su 13380 KHz.

The broadcast segment we propose is Pope Francis' homily broadcast in French on the frequency of 15565 KHz with destination Africa. The celebration was also broadcast with commentary in Arabic on 11925 KHz and in English on 13380 KHz.

L'ultimo giorno di attività di Kalundborg Radio, unica emittente finora sopravvissuta di quello che una volta era il variegato panorama radiofonico scandinavo in onde medie e lunghe, è stato caratterizzato dalla trasmissione del discorso di fine anno della Regina Margrethe di Danimarca, monarca 83enne sul trono dal 1972. Il suo è stato anche l'ultimo discorso da monarca regnante perchè proprio ieri è stata annunciata l'abdicazione al trono in favore del figlio, il principe ereditario Frederik, che avrà effetto legale al partire dal 14 gennaio 2024. La clip audio che vi proponiamo contiene un segmento della trasmissione speciale andata in onda ieri pomeriggio sui 243 KHz e a partire dal minuto 45 potete ascoltare la voce della monarca.

The last day of activity of Kalundborg Radio, the only surviving broadcaster of what was once the varied Scandinavian radio scene in medium and long waves, was characterized by the broadcast of the end-of-year speech by Queen Margrethe of Denmark, 83-year-old monarch of the throne since 1972.
