Radio Gloria è una emittente religiosa cattolica svizzera di lingua tedesca che è in aria dal 2004. Utilizza tutte le piattaforme di diffusione disponibili, in particolare è presente sulla rete DAB+ in tutti i Cantoni della Svizzera tedesca e nel Vallese. Da alcuni mesi, tutti i giorni a partire dalle 6.00 UTC, sta effettuando dei test di trasmissione in onde corte via Radio Onda sulla frequenza di 6140 kHz dal trasmettitore lussemburghese di Junglinster. La potenza attualmente utilizzata è 1 KW. Tutti i dati tecnici della stazione possono essere rilevati dalla QSL elettronica a firma di Peter Galliker (HB9JCD), Station manager, giunta via email dopo due mesi dal rapporto inviato via email all'indirizzo info@radiogloria.ch .
La conferma è accompagnata da una gentile email di Peter che ricorda tra l'altro alcune esperienze di emittenti italiane in onde medie e corte.

It is a pleasure to hear from you, and please accept my apologies for the delayed response.
We began broadcasting via shortwave from Luxembourg this spring, using just a few hundred watts. Thanks to excellent grounding at the former RTL Luxembourg transmission site, the signal performs remarkably well. Our dipole antenna is oriented roughly in your direction, though it remains largely omnidirectional. Our current broadcast schedule is from 8:00 AM (6 UTC) to 11:00 PM (21 UTC) on shortwave 6140 kHz.

Our programming features a rich blend of classical music and religious reflections. Since our founding in 2004, we have proudly served as Switzerland’s first Catholic radio station.
I just visited your blogspot site with very interesting news about worldwide stations. It is nice to hear you worked for a local radio station. In fact in Italy there are so many stations on the air. I can remember lots of private (but think not legal) shortwave stations in the 1990s like Radio Speranza in 49 m band, Radio Milano (often in LSB 41 m band). Later I logged until now Radio Studio X on Medium Wave (stereo). IRRS relayed on 7125 kHz (yes !!) a weekly program I produced when I was a younger man. :-)
