Lo confesso: ho un debole per i beacon amatoriali, soprattutto quelli operanti sui dieci metri. Spesso e volentieri mi dedico all'ascolto di quella porzione di banda che li ospita e spesso, in presenza di propagazione, arrivano segnali da ogni parte del mondo. Gli ascolti dx sono ovviamente i più ambiti ma a volte capita di ascoltare segnali molto vicini mai ascoltati in precedenza. Alcuni giorni fa, per puro caso sui 28295 kHz ho ascoltato e decodificato IZ0CWW/B beacon gestito dalla sezione ARI di Cassino. Il beacon funziona in automatico con diverse potenze: 3 - 1.5 - 0.7 - 0.37 watt. L'antenna, ovviamente, è omnidirezionale. La QSL cartacea, via IK0ESM op. Silvio, è arrivata dopo una settimana dall'invio del rapporto.
