Grazie alla sua posizione geografica la grande isola-stato del Madagascar è da diversi decenni il crocevia dei maggiori broadcasters internazionali che attraverso i potenti siti di trasmissione ivi ubicati irradiano i loro segnali verso il continente africano e quello asiatico. Il sito più conosciuto è quello di Talata-Volonondry che si trova a 25 Km a nord della capitale Antananarivo, costruito da Radio Nederland e gestito da 10 anni dalla Mglob S.A. dopo la dismissione delle onde corte da parte dell'emittente pubblica olandese. Con potenze in antenna che possono arrivare fino a 250 KW il sito è ancora utilizzato da importanti broadcaster: NHK Radio Japan, BBC, Desutsche Welle e naturalmente dalla Radio Vaticana. Dal 2016, dopo lavori durati diversi anni, è stato inaugurato un nuovo sito a Mahajanga, località di mare nel nord ovest del paese e capitale dell'omonima provincia. A realizzare e gestire il sito che eroga fino a 100 KW in antenna è lo storico broadcaster religioso nord americano KNLS già noto per le emissioni in onde corte dall'Alaska. Per distinguerla da quest'ultima la stazione viene anche chiamata Madagascar World Voice (MWV). Le trasmissioni, tutte di carattere culturale e religioso vengono diffuse in russo, inglese, cinese, arabo, spagnolo e portoghese. Ottima e attuale la musica che accompagna i programmi e anche in questo la differenza con le altre stazioni religiose appare evidente. Il segnale trasmesso viaggia ben oltre le zone di destinazione consentendo un facile ascolto anche in estremo oriente e nell'Europa occidentale. Particolarmente comodo sia come orario che come segnale la trasmissione serale in lingua russa mandata in onda alle 18.00 UTC sulla frequenza di 9885 KHz. Thanks to its geographical position, the large island-state of Madagascar has for several decades been the crossroads of the major international broadcasters who, through the powerful transmission sites located there, radiate their signals towards the African and Asian continents. The best known site is that of Talata-Volonondry which is located 25 km north of the capital Antananarivo, built by Radio Nederland and managed for 10 years by Mglob S.A. after the decommissioning of shortwave by the Dutch public broadcaster. With antenna powers that can reach up to 250 KW, the site is still used by important broadcasters: NHK Radio Japan, BBC, Desutsche Welle and of course by Vatican Radio. Since 2016, after several years of work, a new site has been inaugurated in Mahajanga, a seaside resort in the northwest of the country and capital of the province of the same name. The historic North American religious broadcaster KNLS, already known for shortwave emissions from Alaska, is building and managing the site that delivers up to 100 KW in the antenna. To distinguish it from the latter, the station is also called Madagascar World Voice (MWV). The broadcasts, all of a cultural and religious nature, are broadcast in Russian, English, Chinese, Arabic, Spanish and Portuguese. The music that accompanies the programs is excellent and current and also in this the difference with the other religious stations is evident. The transmitted signal travels well beyond the destination areas allowing easy listening even in the Far East and Western Europe. The evening broadcast in Russian broadcast at 18.00 UTC on the frequency of 9885 KHz is particularly convenient both in terms of time and signal. on both 9845 and 9885 kHz here in Germany.
excellent signal for 100 kw only.

the KNLS Anker Pt. address as well as Saint Petersburgh
based PO Box number in Russia.
hit music and 80s, as well as rock and indie.
plus mostly book reviews and religious readings.
