| Il sito trasmittente di Moosbrunn Le note del "Bel Danubio blu" di Johann Strauss sono tornate a suonare anche sulle onde corte. La ORF, l'ente radiotelevisivo austriaco, ha deciso di aumentare le ore di trasmissione su questa banda aggiungendo alla tradizionale fascia oraria mattutina anche due trasmissioni giornaliere a metà giornata e nel tardo pomeriggio. La direzione dell'ente intende in questo modo potenziare l'informazione a destinazione Ucraina perché le infrastrutture locali vengono gradualmente distrutte o messe fuori uso dagli attacchi dell'esercito russo. Questo lo schedule giornaliero di Radio Austria International che adesso oltre all'"Ö1-Morgenjournal" (6155 kHz) delle 6:00,propone anche "Ö1 Mittagsjournal" (13730 kHz) alle 11:00 e "Ö1 Abendjournal" (5940 kHz) alle 17:00 attraverso il potente sito di Moosbrunn. "Con questo servizio aggiuntivo, i giornali radiofonici Ö1 possono essere ricevuti facilmente e facilmente dagli ascoltatori di lingua tedesca in tutta Europa, inclusa l'Ucraina", ha affermato il direttore della radio ORF Ingrid Thurnher in una trasmissione.
