AUDIOCLIP. IL GIRO CICLISTICO D'ITALIA IN VHF-UHF

Il Giro d'Italia è l'evento sportivo nazionale più importante per gli appassionati di ciclismo, ma anche radioamatori e praticanti del radioascolto attendono questa manifestazione per provare ad ascoltare le trasmissioni di servizio sulle bande V/UHF a supporto della corsa. Le frequenze sono ben note a partire dai 149.850 MHz di Radio Corsa che fornisce a tutta la carovana al seguito del Giro informazioni sull' andamento della gara e comunicazioni di servizio dell'organizzazione. Il servizio è fornito in tre lingue: italiano, inglese e francese e ogni comunicazione viene rigorosamente effettuata in questi idiomi. La RAI che si fa carico delle cronache radiofoniche e televisive utilizza la banda UHF per la regia televisiva. O almeno fino allo scorso anno le utilizzava, perchè in questo Giro 2023 non sono riuscito ad ascoltare nulla sui 459.725 MHz solitamente usati dalla RAI per questo servizio, mentre sulla frequenza di 464.925 MHz si ascoltava il solo audio della trasmissione televisiva. Molto probabilmente il servizio di regia sarà migrato su altre frequenze o piattaforme. Ovviamente il segnale si ascolta quando la tappa arriva o transita nel proprio comprensorio, cosi mi sono messo in ascolto nel pomeriggio del 12 maggio con l'arrivo previsto a Campo Imperatore, importante stazione sciistica abruzzese e primo gradino per gli escursionisti che vogliono arrivare sul Gran Sasso d'Italia, la montagna più alta del nostro Appenino. Ho iniziato l'ascolto con la tappa che transitava a Roccaraso e sono riuscito ad ascoltare le trasmissioni fino all'arrivo di tappa. Questi alcuni segmenti degli ascolti effettuati.

The Giro d'Italia is the most important national sporting event for cycling enthusiasts, but also radio amateurs and radio listeners await this event to try and listen to service broadcasts on the V/UHF bands to support the race. The frequencies are well known starting from the 149.850 MHz of Radio Corsa which supplies the whole caravan following the Giro with information on the progress of the race and service communications from the organization. The service is provided in three languages: Italian, English and French and all communication is rigorously carried out in these languages. RAI, which takes care of radio and television news, uses the UHF band for television direction. Or at least until last year it used them, because in this Giro 2023 I was unable to listen to anything on the 459.725 MHz usually used by RAI for this service, while on the 464.925 MHz frequency only the audio of the television broadcast was listened to. Most likely the directing service will be migrated to other frequencies or platforms. Obviously the signal is heard when the stage arrives or passes through its district, so I listened in the afternoon of May 12 with the expected arrival in Campo Imperatore, an important ski resort in Abruzzo and the first step for hikers who want to reach the Gran Sasso d'Italia, the highest mountain in our Apennines. I started listening with the stage that passed through Roccaraso and I was able to listen to the broadcasts until the finish of the stage. These are some segments of the listening performed.
