AUDIOCLIP, THE ANNUAL TRANSMISSION OF RADIO OOMRANG FROM THE FRISIAN ISLANDS ON 15215 KHz

 


Radio Oomrang (Amrum) è un'emittente che trasmette solo una volta l'anno un programma bilingue della durata di un'ora dedicato alla diaspora frisona nel mondo, in particolare ai residenti nell'America Settentrionale. La trasmissione avviene in onde corte, di solito sulla frequenza dei 15215 KHz, attraverso il sito Media Broadcast di Issodun ed è uno degli aventi più attesi dalla comunità del radioascolto internazionale. L'idea non poteva che essere di un radioamatore, Arjan Kozolow, che in questo modo ha inteso omaggiare la sua terra d'origine, le Isole Frisoni settentrionali, di appartenenza tedesca.  Dal 2006 l'appuntamento è fisso, il 21 febbraio, giorno di festa delle isole. Il programma dura un'ora e viene diffuso in lingua tedesca e frisona con identificazione anche in inglese. La trasmissione è andata in onda anche oggi tra le 16 e le 17 UTC. La ricezione, interessata da un certo grado di fading è stata buona. Purtroppo non è prevista una conferma diretta di questa Radio, ma i rapporti di ricezione possono essere inviati a Media Broadcast via email a : qsl-shortwave@media-broadcast.com . Radio Oomrang (Amrum) is a radio that broadcasts only once a year a bilingual one-hour program dedicated to the Frisian diaspora around the world, especially to residents of North America.
