Una piccola curiosità della radio del secolo scorso legata alla mia città. Tra gli anni 30 e gli anni 60 del 900 il "Gruppo corale di Anagni" raggiunse un notevole livello artistico ed una certa notorietà a livello nazionale che si tradusse in numerosi inviti, oltre 40, ad eseguire concerti in diretta radiofonica sui canali EIAR e nel dopoguerra RAI. In un libricino che narra la storia di questo sodalizio musicale edito quasi mezzo secolo fa ad Anagni, ho trovato questi due trafiletti: uno del 1938 tratto da "Il Popolo di Roma" e l'altro del 1939 da "Il Messaggero" che pubblicizzano l'intera programmazione serale sui vari canali con tanto di frequenze. Tre i canali riportati negli annunci: ROMA I su 713 Kc, ROMA II su 1222 Kc e ROMA III su 1357 Kc. Da notare l'italianizzazione dell'unita di misura (Chilocicli) e del noto commediografo inglese Shaw che diventa Giorgio Bernardo.
A little curiosity from the radio of the last century linked to my city. Between the 1930s and the 1960s the "Anagni Choral Group" reached a notable artistic level and a certain notoriety at a national level which translated into numerous invitations, over 40, to perform live radio concerts on the EIAR channels and in post-war RAI. In a little book that tells the story of this musical association published almost half a century ago in Anagni, I found these two short paragraphs: one from 1938 taken from "Il Popolo di Roma" and the other from 1939 from "Il Messaggero" which advertise the entire evening programming on the various channels complete with frequencies. Three channels are listed in the adverts: ROMA I on 713 Kc, ROMA II on 1222 Kc and ROMA III on 1357 Kc. Note the Italianization of the unit of measurement (Kilocycles) and the well-known English playwright Shaw who becomes Giorgio Bernardo.
