Trovandomi una tantum in casa in occasione del suo passaggio ho voluto tentare la ricezione del segnale SSTV dalla stazione spaziale internazionale (ISS) sulla frequenza in VHF dei 145.800 MHz. Non avendo ne esperienza ne antenne adatte per questo particolare segmento del radiantismo il risultato non poteva che essere mediocre. In giro ho visto pubblicate immagini decisamente migliori della mia. Leggendo in rete ho visto che era anche l'ultimo giorno che dalla stazione spaziale sarebbero state trasmesse immagini SSTV quindi per eventuali miglioramenti di ricezione se ne parlerà la prossima volta. Giusto per completezza di informazione: ho utilizzato in ricezione lo YAESU 9600, un'antenna Diamond che uso normalmente per i 10 metri e il solito software MMSSTV. Il sistema utilizzato in trasmissione era il PD-120. A corollario di questa settimana di sperimentazione in SSTV c'è anche un diploma già richiesto. Vedremo se il manager mi darà almeno il vecchio 36 (hi !) .
Finding myself at home for a single occasion on the occasion of its passage I wanted to try to receive the SSTV signal from the International Space Station (ISS) on the VHF frequency of 145.800 MHz. Having neither experience nor antennas suitable for this particular segment of ham radio, the result could only be mediocre. Around I have seen published images that were decidedly better than mine. Reading online I saw that it was also the last day that SSTV images would be transmitted from the space station, so any improvements in reception will be discussed next time.
