La QSL riprodotta è un vecchio ricordo di fine anni 90 quando i channel marker delle stazioni marittime in onde corte si potevano ascoltare in tutte le bande destinate al servizio. Le varie marine militari non facevano eccezioni e spesso e volentieri rispondevano con cortesi lettere ai rapporti di ricezione. Alcune di esse avevano predisposto anche delle QSL destinate a soddisfare i desideri degli ascoltatori delle onde corte. Questa in particolare, della Marina Militare del Pakistan, relativa ad un ascolto sui 13011 KHz, mi è tornata in mente perché in questi giorni il segnale in CW della stazione AQP2/4 è stato segnalato sulla frequenza di 6391 KHz. Dopo un paio di serate di appostamenti, finalmente ieri sera è comparso un segnale piuttosto basso e quasi sempre disturbato, ma abbastanza chiaro da poter essere decifrato. Non saprei dire se si tratta di una ripresa del servizio o se, semplicemente, in questi anni non mi è più capitato di pensare a questa stazione. Valeva comunque la pena segnalarla visto che si tratta di uno dei pochi channel marker ancora in uso sulle onde corte.
AQP 2/4 PAKISTAN NAVY ISLAMABAD, 6391 KHz
The reproduced QSL is an old memory from the late 90s when the channel markers of the shortwave maritime stations could be heard on all the bands intended for the service. The various navies were no exception and often and willingly responded with polite letters to the reception reports. Some of them had also prepared QSL cards intended to satisfy the desires of shortwave listeners. This one in particular, from the Pakistan Navy, relating to a listening on 13011 KHz, came to mind because in recent days the CW signal of the AQP2/4 station has been reported on the frequency of 6391 KHz. After a couple of evenings of stakeouts, finally last night a rather low signal appeared but clear enough to be deciphered. I can't say if it's a resumption of the service or if, simply, in these years I no longer thought about this station. In any case, it was worth reporting it since it is one of the few channel markers still in use on shortwave.
