The friend Alessandro Golfi of Rome, radio amateur IZ0JSD, is a radio amateur who is always active in QRP as an activator of diplomas and special names dedicated to the navy and other events promoted by the radio amateur associations of Rome and the province. After each single event, Alessandro personally cares for the confirmation phase with his own "crafts" QSLs and sends them to the corresponding HAM and SWL. This is actually a passion in the passion that completes his passion for the radio. In May 2017, Alessandro Golfi participated in his second QTH, located in the characteristic mountain village of Filettino, Province of Frosinone, at a radio amateur event dedicated to the historic raid of the "1000 Miles" that travels much of the peninsula from Brescia to Rome and back in memory of the mythical race that in the 30's has named Tazio Nuvolari in the myth. Within a few months, the time needed to process the logs and realize the QSL, Alesandro sent his confirmation about the links made on the 40-meter band. Along with the QSL card we also offer a photograph of the village of Filettino, also known as the birthplace of the humanist and pedagogue Martino Filetico and Patriot Giuditta Tavani Arquati, as well as for the beautiful surrounding landscapes of the Simbruini Mountains.
