BROKEN THE RADIO VERDAD SHORT WAVES TRANSMITTER

 



Guatemala - Apreciados Amigos de Radio Verdad:

El transmisor Omnitronix 1000 de Radio Verdad se quemó el 5 de diciembre del 2020, a las 10:00 am. Los dos módulos de potencia se quemaron, de modo que, Radio Verdad está fuera del aire desde entonces.
Ya reparamos el Módulo 'A', y fui a probarlo. Funcionó bien durante cinco minutos, y luego, se quemó un fusible. Pensamos revisarlo mañana.
El Módulo 'B' tiene una tarjeta con un área quemada en el circuito impreso. Puede ser que necesitemos una nueva tarjeta, o reconstruir la tarjeta vieja.
Así es que, ésa es la razón por la cual estamos fuera del aire por onda corta.

Guatemala - Dear Friends of Radio Verdad:

Radio Verdad's Omnitronix 1000 transmitter burned down on December 5, 2020, at 10:00 am. Both power modules burned out, so Radio Truth has been off the air ever since.
We already repaired Module 'A', and I went to test it. It worked fine for five minutes, and then a fuse blew. We plan to review it tomorrow.
Module 'B' has a card with a burned area on the printed circuit. We might need a new card, or rebuild the old card.
So that's why we are off the air on short wave.
However, we are on the air through our Website.
