Questi sono giorni di ritrovamenti e rimembranze. Dai soliti cassetti-scatola-del-tempo è saltata fuori questa lettera ricevuta da Radio Nacional do Brasil nel 1981. Non essendoci nessuna cartolina o lettera con i dati di ascolto, in tutta evidenza non l'avevo considerata come una conferma, ma a distanza di tanti anni, abituati come siamo ormai alle eQSL quando va bene, se non ai messaggi attraverso le chat dei social, penso che questa possa considerarsi una conferma a tutti gli effetti. Il valore "probatorio" della missiva sta tutto nel timbro postale personalizzato della macchina affrancatrice in dotazione alla radio che faceva capo al Segretariato alle Comunicazioni Sociali della Presidenza della Repubblica, anche se, occorre ricordarlo, in quel periodo il Brasile era ancora retto da una dittatura militare che sarebbe rimasta al potere ancora per quattro anni. L'unico cenno all'ascolto è il bigliettino di ringraziamento, redatto in lingua inglese , accluso nella spedizione che comprende anche lo schedule delle trasmissioni con una breve presentazione dell'emittente, il tutto in fotocopia. Dell'ascolto vero e proprio non ricordo nulla se non il fatto che le poche volte che ho ascoltato la stazione è stato su una delle frequenze sulla banda dei 19 metri.
These are days of discoveries and memories. From the usual drawers-boxes-of-time this letter received from Radio Nacional do Brasil in 1981 has popped out. Since there was no postcard or letter with the listening data, I clearly hadn't considered it as a confirmation, but after so many years, accustomed as we are now to eQSLs when it goes well, if not to messages via social chats, I think that this can be considered a confirmation in all respects. The "probative" value of the letter lies entirely in the personalized postmark of the stamping machine supplied with the radio that was part of the Secretariat of Social Communications of the Presidency of the Republic, even if, it should be remembered, at that time Brazil was still governed by a military dictatorship that would remain in power for another four years. The only reference to listening is the thank you note, written in English, included in the shipment that also includes the schedule of broadcasts with a brief presentation of the station, all photocopied. I don't remember anything about actually listening except that the few times I listened to the station it was on one of the frequencies on the 19 meter band.
