Da qualche mese la storica frequenza in onda media dei 1476 KHz che consentiva alla ORF di essere ascoltata in tutta Europa è tornata attiva. Reinhard Pimbacher ex speaker della ORF e radioamatore ha ottenuto l'autorizzazione per trasmettere con una stazione a bassa potenza (circa 400 watt effettivi) dalla località di Bad Ischl nella regione di Salisburgo. Ad aiutarlo in questa impresa è la signora Edith Schiller, sua moglie a sua volta radioamatore con il call OE5SEO. La programmazione è di tipo musicale con prevalenza "oldies". Le trasmissioni sono iniziate ufficialmente il 12 aprile 2020 e vengono diffuse dalle 15 alle 21 UTC. Nel corso della trasmissione del 23 maggio 2020 è stata trasmessa una canzone che è un classico della radiofonia italiana: "l'uccellino della radio" che potete ascoltare nella registrazione.
