In passato gli spegnimenti tecnici del trasmettitore in onda media di Radio Capodistria avevano consentito l'ascolto anche nelle nostre regioni delle trasmissioni in isofrequenza provenienti dagli Emirati Arabi Uniti. Dal sito trasmittente di Al-Dhabbaya è attivo un potente strasmettitore Thomson S7HP di 800 KW dal quale in passato sono transitate le emissioni di Abu Dhabi FM e Radio Sawa, mentre attualmente viene utilizzata da Sawt Al-Joumhouria (Voice of the Repbublic). Nella serata di venerdì 22 maggio, con Radio Capodistria attiva (se si fa attenzione si ascolta debolmente in sottofondo) e una propagazione strepitosa dalla regione del Golfo, l'emittente in lingua araba si ascoltava con segnale strepitoso coprendo segnale e modulazione del trasmettitore di Beli Kriz. Programmazione a base di segmenti parlati di circa 10 minuti intervallati da musiche dallo stile piuttosto enfatico e frequenti identificazioni.
