Alla nostra mezzanotte, con il canale incredibilmente libero dalla solita stazione cinese, arriva discretamente sui 5985 KHz il segnale di Myanmar Radio, l'emittente pubblica di questo Stato del sud est asiatico, sempre alla ribalta, in questi ultimi anni, per le dure repressioni del dissenso da parte della giunta militare al potere e le continue violazioni dei diritti umani nei confronti delle minoranze etniche che risiedono nel Paese. Una delle accuse, con relativa condanna, al leader dell'opposizione al regime Aung San Suu Kyi è la detenzione abusiva di Walkie Talkie utilizzati dalle sue guardie del corpo.
